AM I A FAILURE?

  D oes feelings of inadequacy prevent you from taking new challenges? Does the well-meaning comments of those you respect sometimes under-mine your confidence? Does discouragement of past  blunders hold you back from trying again? If so, how can you come to terms with your failures (real   or perceived)?       You have everything to gain by finding an answer to the last question because sooner or  later, everybody fails at something. But people who can deal with failure are resilient. That  means they can put their mistakes in perspective, get up and try again. And next time, they  are more likely to succeed!   A man who had been bitten by a rattlesnake was rushed to the hospital. When he asked the doctor ‘ ’is it life threatening ?’’ the doctor replied and said, ‘ ’the bite is not  but the poison is ”. The bites you suffer at the hands of others are painful and  upsetting, but they are lethal. What happens to you normally does not destroy you,  but what happens to you afterwards can.                 Like venom, bitterness first poisons your mind, then your relationship with people. It causes you to replay the hurt until it controls you, stealing the future God has for you. But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can overcome bitterness everyday of your life.
