LEARN HIM, NOT CHANGE HIM

A male child is mostly fond of his mother. I mean, the mother has been there all through his life, taking care of him, praying for him, encouraging him, supporting him and been there for him generally. A man will first tell his mother about his girlfriend before his father is aware. And so the guy gets married and it’s hard to move to the new realization that he now has a wife, who is to step in and take a baton. The baton, I mean now while some men can easily move, others can’t, well depending on how close they are to their mothers. So I mean, time and patience is required here on the wife’s part to help the guy transit and the guy must be willing to transit as well.

So, let me address the ladies, if you really want your man to transit in time. What a man wants in a woman are; a man really want a spiritual woman, intellectual need and of course physical needs. Ladies, listen to this carefully, you can only LEARN your man and not CHANGE him. I mean, since you’ve been trying to change him, has it worked?

The door of change is guarded from within. No amount of knocking, crying, nagging, tantrums will open the door, until the person within is willing and ready to turn on the handle on the door and open it. Men don’t change, they can only improve on been a better person.

A man needs a spiritual companion and not a spiritual enforcer. Men are more of intellectual beings than spiritual beings. They need a woman is who is more spiritual than they are. They have faith when you pray for them than when they pray for themselves (reason why they love their mothers so much). Even in churches, you find more ladies than you find men. You find more ladies in units in churches than you find men. You beg your man to pray after you have prayed for yourself and your man. But ladies try to make men spiritual like them and that’s where the problem starts from. I mean, you saw his level of spirituality before you married him.

Men needs more intellectual conversation and not emotional conversation (at least most of the time). So ladies, you have to be intelligent. Know a little about everything. Be interested in the career path or the business of the guy. I mean, the guy is trying to be successful in life, the least you can do is help him get there. The greatest fear of a Man is Failure. A man is always scared of Failing in life generally. It is not romantic to cry over every matter, It is actually very annoying. Your guy cannot even have friends again, you pick a fight with him. Men actually hate it when as a lady, you can’t stand on your own.

Finally ladies, a man needs respect and respect is not in kneeling down, it is in your choice of words and how you value him. Men cannot handle failures, so give him ginger towards success. Be his greatest cheerleader, be his number 1 Fan. Men also needs and wants you to be beautiful. Make your hair, dress well, wear a perfume, be clean and neat because they like it when they can flaunt you in public.

I know and I feel it’s a lot of responsibility placed on you guys, but if the holy book refers you as HELP MEET, then that’s huge. I know with the help of the Almighty, you can rise up to the challenge.
